I had the pleasure to chat with head honcho of Hobbs & Friends of the OSR, Jason Hobbs the other day. Always great to chat with Jason about a wide array of subjects!
The HandyMaps Kickstarter has surpassed all of our expectations! And it still has its last week left to run.
The original 10 card set (20 maps) has now increased to 11 cards (22 maps), and if we hit £10,000 in funding by campaign end (predictions look very promising), it will be 12 cards (24 maps).
Buy in to the campaign is cheap at £10 + shipping too! Super handy town and village maps ready for your game.
The next, small Kickstarter due from MonkeyBlood Design… launches in around 1-2 weeks. Feel free to follow the project and leave feedback in the meantime here:
Down at UKGE 2019, I bumped into Zach (aka JellyMuppet) and the good folks from SoulMuppet Publishing. I snagged their Best Left Buriedhardback, and it’s great stuff.
They have a KS running for some mini-zines (zinis) called A Doom To Speak, and from the sample I got at UKGE, it’s good stuff people. They have some top talent lined up too. Give ’em a backing here:
It is, and continues to be, quite fucking manic here… and I love it.
The City of Great Lunden kickstarter production is going very well. I’ve laid it out with some art placeholders, and it’s part-edited already. It’s going strong, and I’m excited.
So I can label up the roof terminology
The original intention was for the main book to include the short story and a small adventure, but those have moved out into the stretch goal product because I wanted to keep the core of the city information in the main book. So, Adventures in Great Lunden is looking like it’ll be over half the size of the main book, albeit print-on-demand.
